What is Maple Sugar, and what can you do with it?

Maple sugar is a great substitute for white sugar. The ratio of substitution depends on your preference. Most people use 3/4 cup maple sugar for 1 cup of cane sugar, but for a sweeter result you can substitute at a 1-for-1 ratio.

Ways we love to use maple sugar:

Coffee and Tea:

A simple way to enjoy natural sweetness—maple sugar adds a smooth, rich maple flavor to coffee and tea. Blend it into cold foam for a rich, creamy maple sweetness.

Morning Oats:

Add maple sugar to warm oatmeal for a comforting, rich sweetness that pairs perfectly with breakfast.

Pancakes and Waffles:

Sprinkle maple sugar on buttered toast, pancakes, or waffles for a classic maple taste.

Granola:

Sprinkle maple sugar over granola or mix it in for a light, natural sweetness with a rich maple flavor.

Fruits and Snacks:

Lightly sprinkle maple sugar over fresh fruit, yogurt, or popcorn for a quick and delicious treat.
